Spice Island Beach Resort is a prestigious 64-suite AAA Five Diamond/Six Star Diamond all-inclusive
and Green Globe certified resort situated on Grenada’s breathtaking Grand Anse Beach. Operated by
a Grenadian family, this well-established resort is renowned for delivering memorable hospitality
experiences to discerning guests in a warm, relaxed and superior ambience.
An experienced Food & Beverage Manager is required to collaborate with the Food & Beverage Director in introducing concepts that will set the resort apart globally and elevate the guests’ experience beyond their expectations.
Key responsibilities:
● Service Excellence & Operational Efficiency: Maintain a high level of guest interaction while managing daily restaurant, bar and banqueting operations aligned with the resort’s mission of impeccable service standards. Streamline processes, optimise workflows and ensure compliance with standard operating procedures.
● Innovation: Continuously explore and implement creative food and beverage concepts shaped by local culture, to delight guests and keep our offerings fresh and exciting.
● Growth & Profitability: Collaborate with the Commercial team to develop and implement strategic plans and initiatives that maximise revenue and profitability. Implement effective inventory management and other cost control measures.
● Leadership, Training and Mentorship: Develop a high-performing team, using innovative hands-on
leadership, training and coaching techniques. Foster a positive and inclusive working environment that
encourages high employee engagement.
● Safety and Compliance: Ensure strict adherence to health and safety regulations across all food and
beverage areas. Conduct regular audits and implement corrective actions as needed.
● Sustainability Focus: Champion sustainable practices aligned with Green Globe certification and
environmental and social commitments.
What we seek:
● Minimum five (5) years of experience managing high-end food and beverage operations in luxury hotel settings. Strong knowledge of culinary and beverage trends.
● Bachelor’s degree in Food & Beverage Management, Hospitality Management or related field.
● Extensive experience developing and documenting standard operating procedures.
● Customer-focused mindset, high emotional intelligence and exceptional communication skills.
● Strong financial literacy and a results-oriented mindset.
● Excellent critical thinking, problem-solving and planning skills, with an eye for detail.
● Strong leadership skills with a proven track record in creating high-performing and engaged teams.
● Good knowledge of safety and regulatory compliance requirements.
● Adaptability and flexibility to meet the dynamic demands of a luxury resort.
● Computer literacy in Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, Outlook), Google apps, point-of-sale systems and hospitality software.
